Yoga is holistic and works on the human system at many levels. This gives it the power to improve health physically, physiologically, mentally and emotionally.
Each of us is unique and throughout our lives we face a range of different challenges. Yoga has a rich repertoire of tools such as asana (postures), pranayama (breath control), meditation, sound and visualisation to help develop, support or heal us. Just a few minutes a day using a personalised practice can have powerful effects.
Sussexyoga was established by Helen Macpherson and her partner Andy Curtis-Payne who are members of The Society of Yoga Practitioners (TSYP). Sussexyoga aims to promote the yoga teachings of Professor T Krishnamacharya and his son T.K.V. Desikachar through classes, workshops, retreats and one to one consultations.
