The use of sound has always been a powerful tool in yoga. Science is now beginning to support this with growing interest and research on the wide range of benefits to health of mantra and meditation. (Read report)
Sound has the power to calm or stimulate, to support concentration or to develop confidence or indeed to foster a wide range of qualities.
We can work with simple sounds, mantra or through chanting of vedic texts or yoga sutras.
